According to the group, both appointments came on the back of recommendations from the nominating committee due to the credentials, experience, background and knowledge of Tham and Chin.
Currently, Tham is also the director of Straits Real Estate, Avanda Investment Management and is an adviser to Mellford.
Meanwhile, Chin currently holds the position of chairman and director of boardroom, director of Apricus Global and the non-executive and lead independent director of Paragon REIT Management.
Shares in CapitaLand Investment closed 2 cents higher, or up 0.73%, at $2.75 on Dec 2.
