SGX Group CEO Loh Boon Chye has been given the Lifetime Achievement Award by derivatives-industry publication FOW, and the exchange was named “Clearing House of the Year”.
Loh, who was appointed to this role in 2015, says he is deeply honoured to receive both the clearing award and individual recognition from FOW.
"They are a tribute to the hard work and dedication of our team, and a reflection of the trust of our clients and partners.
"As Asia’s most international multiasset exchange and clearing house, SGX Group plays a vital role in supporting capital flows and risk transfer globally, enabling market participants to navigate volatility with confidence," he adds.
FOW's clearing house award recognises excellence in risk management, operational resilience and innovation in clearing services – key pillars that underpin the integrity and efficiency of global derivatives markets.
SGX Group’s win followed an analysis by FOW’s editorial team and decision-making from a panel of Asia derivatives experts, reflecting industry-wide trust in its leadership as a global central counterparty.
