SATS’ wholly-owned subsidiary, World Flight Services, has launched and priced US$100 million ($128.4 million) worth of Series 003 notes due 2030.

The notes, launched under Sats’ US$3 billion multicurrency debt issuance programme, carries a coupon rate of 4.648% per annum payable semi-annually in arrear.

The notes will be issued in registered form and in denominations of US$200,000 each.

According to SATS, the net proceeds from the issue of the notes will be used to refinance existing borrowings and will not result in an increase in its overall debt.

The notes are expected to be issued on June 23 and will mature on the same date in 2030.

Shares in Sats closed flat at $3.08 on June 18.
