SATS has announced changes to the composition of the board, with Jessica Tan stepping down as director of the company by Dec 31.
Tan will relinquish her positions as chairperson of the nominating committee and as a member of the audit committee who was appointed to the board on April 17, 2017. She has served as an independent director for almost nine years.
From Jan 1, the composition of the board will consist of Irving Tan, Kerry Mok, Vinita Bali, Chan Lai Fung, Chan Lai Fung, Eng Aik Meng, Mak Swee Wah, Deborah Ong and Pier Sigismondi.
Shares in SATS closed 1 cent higher or 0.263% up at $3.81 on Dec 30.
