Thai Beverage (ThaiBev) has reported a sales revenue of THB258.6 billion ($10.23 billion) for the 9MFY2025 ended June 30, down 0.4% y-o-y.
This is in comparison to the group’s 9MFY2024 earnings of THB259.8 billion, which includes the consolidation of Fraser and Neave in September 2024 which is accounted for as a business combination under common control by the same ultimate controlling shareholders.
The company’s ebitda for 9MFY2025 came in 4% y-o-y lower at THB45 billion.
ThaiBev’s spirits business reported stable sales revenue of THB92.8 billion in the period, despite a 0.8% y-o-y decrease in total sales volume y-o-y. The group says that the international business, including Myanmar, delivered a strong performance.
Its beer business recorded a 0.3% y-o-y decline in sales revenue to THB96.5 billion due to challenging market conditions in Vietnam, despite a 4.8% increase in total sales volume. Ebitda margin expanded to 13% y-o-y driven by a decrease in key raw material costs and improvement in production efficiency.
In its non-alcoholic beverages (NAB) segment, sales revenue declined 0.7% y-o-y, but total sales volume increased 0.4% y-o-y. Ebitda declined 6.3% y-o-y, primarily due to increased brand investment and marketing activities aimed at engaging consumers across all channels, as well as a lower share of profit from associates.

ThaiBev’s food business saw a 1.4% y-o-y decrease in sale revenue due to softening consumer sentiment that affected spending and overall market demand. Ebitda declined by 19.5% y-o-y as a result of higher raw material and labor costs.
The group’s others business saw a 5.9% y-o-y decline in sale revenue from the absence of one-off contributions including title sales and licensing income which boosted the previous year’s results.
As at June 30, the group’s net cash from operating activities stood at THB35.7 billion, and cash and cash stood at THB48.4 billion.
Shares in ThaiBev closed 0.5 cents higher or 1.064% up at 47.5 cents on Aug 14.
