The Assembly Place's IPO, which is raising net proceeds of $10.8 million, is 5.2 times subscribed. The 2 million public tranche shares was 35.5 times subscribed while the placement tranche of 48.3 million shares is 3.9 times subscribed.
The offer attracted institutional investors such as Avanda Investment Management andLion Global Investors, individuals such as Centurion's Han Seng Juan, SAC Capital's Rudolf Jurgen August Rolles and United Overseas Australia's Chong Soon Kong @ Chi Suim.
In addition, the IPO is backed by cornerstone investors including Apricot Capital, Asdew Acquisitions, Cache Capital, ICH Synergrowth Fund, Maybank Securities, S11 Group's Jonathan Cheah Chi Kong and Deepak Lakhi Ramchandani of Maybank Securities.
Collectively, they have subscribed for 29.5 million new shares at the IPO price, or a total of $6.8 million.
SAC Capital is the sponsor, issue manager, underwriter and placement agent for the IPO; Maybank Securities is the sub-placement agent.
The Assembly Place will start trading on Jan 23.
