AR Capital, one of the six appointed asset managers that will launch fund strategies under the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s (MAS) Equity Market Development Programme (EQDP), will be launching a new funds in "early 2026".
This launch will be AR Capital's fifth investment fund – a dedicated Singapore Equities Fund that will join its suite of current offerings, which includes the AR New Asia Fund (Asia ex-Japan equities and Global stocks driven by Asia dynamics); AR Focus Fund (Global stocks benefitting from secular trends like innovation and lifestyle changes); AR Dividend Plus Fund (Global dividend generating stocks); and the AR Prime Fund (Stocks benefit from strong growth trends that are yet to be fully recognised by the market).
In its Nov 26 press release AR Capital says: "This appointment underscores AR Capital’s established track record and its disciplined focus on capturing emerging global secular trends. The firm will leverage its global expertise and deep domain knowledge to benefit the local ecosystem."
The firm will share more details on the fund launch "in due course".
Beyond the upcoming fund launch, AR Capital has also kicked off an Educational Series in collaboration with the Singapore Exchange (SGX). The series debuted earlier this month with a successful fireside chat featuring the dual-listed technology firm, AvePoint. AR Capital had previously indicated interest in investing in AvePoint's IPO earlier in September.
“We are honoured by the MAS appointment and excited by the opportunity to contribute actively to the vibrancy of Singapore’s investment ecosystem,” says Leong Wah Kheong, CEO of AR Capital. “Our upcoming Singapore Equities Fund and educational initiatives reflect our long-term commitment to enhancing market development and delivering value to our stakeholders.”
