(Nov 28): Accenture plc is in discussions about moving its Paris office across town, as businesses consolidate in the centre of the city.
The professional services firm is in talks with LaSalle Investment Management over the Bergere office development in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, according to people familiar with the talks who asked not to be identified discussing ongoing negotiations. The contract is not yet signed, they said.
The deal would see Accenture take the entire 26,500 sq m (285,240 sq ft) office, which was previously home to BNP Paribas SA, one of the people said. LaSalle bought the office from the French bank in 2020 in a sale-and-leaseback transaction, and announced in 2023 it was redeveloping the building.
Representatives for Accenture and LaSalle declined to comment.
The move would mark a change of scenery for Accenture’s employees, who currently work on the other side of the Seine at 118 Avenue de France. It is also a sign of confidence in the Parisian market, which has seen a decline in large transactions of over 5,000 sq m, according to data published by CBRE. Paris saw 32 such deals in the third quarter, compared to 38 in the same period last year.
“There have been only four other leasing deals of this size since 2023,” said Magali Marton, head of research at Knight Frank in Paris.

Instead, there’s been an acceleration in deals for smaller units, according to a report published by Knight Frank. While the stock of second-hand offices is rising in the central business district, new buildings are hard to come by and almost all of the space delivered or available in 2025 had been let by the half-year point, the report added.
Accenture has said it’s planning to boost headcount across all of its markets, including Europe, based on the demand it sees from clients — even as it cuts some staff that it says cannot retrain for artificial intelligence-related work.
