Sanli Environmental's non-executive chairman, Ng Lip Chi Lawrence, has passed away on Sept 5, at the age of 54, announced the company on Sept 7.
Ng, who was appointed chairman on May 11, 2017, also held other roles within the company, including being its independent director, chairman of its remuneration committee and member of its audit and nominating committees.
Ng was also an independent non-executive director of fellow SGX-listed company, UG Healthcare Corporation, before his retirement in October 2024 upon the conclusion of the company’s annual general meeting (AGM). Ng also retired from his roles as chairman of the remuneration committee and member of the audit and nominating committees at UG Healthcare in October 2024.
