With more than 30 years of experience in Singapore’s building construction industry, Phua’s duties within the group included setting out strategic plans, steering business development, the overall management and day-to-day operations for Boldtek Holdings.
Under his stewardship, the group has since expanded into a diverse range of building constructions services, from renovation and interior fit-out works to upgrading and main building works for the public sector.
Before he passed, Phua held 23.5 million shares in Boldtek Holdings. He also had an indirect interest in 168.7 million shares in the company.
Shares in Boldtek closed flat at 3.5 cents on Sept 3.
