The son of Nanofilm Technologies’ group CEO, Matthew Shi, has been promoted to the position of general manager of the company with effect from Oct 2.
The younger Shi, who is 26, is the son of Shi Xu, board chairman and group CEO of Nanofilm Technologies. Shi Xu’s wife Jin Xiao Qun is also a substantial shareholder of the company.
Xi has 340,000 shares in the company, and will be the general manager of the industrial equipment business unit of the company.
Shares in Nanofilm Technology closed 1.5 cents lower or 1.948% down at 75.5 cents on Oct 1.
