Yeo was Singapore's Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2004 to 2011.

Creative Technology has appointed George Yong-Boon Yeo as an independent non-creative director to its board.

Yeo’s appointment takes effect from Nov 15.

Yeo was Singapore's Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2004 to 2011.

Following that, he served as chairman of Kerry Logistics Network Limited from 2012 to 2019.

He was also senior adviser to the Kuok Group from 2019 to 2021.

Yeo presently sits on the board of the AIA Group and Pinduoduo Inc as independent non-executive director.

He was previously the non-executive director of Wilmar International from 2014 to 2017.

With his extensive knowledge and experience in international affairs and leadership roles, Mr. Yeo will be a valuable addition to the Creative Board and his guidance and support will be invaluable to Creative. Creative will benefit from his perspectives and insights as we move forward to meet the challenges in these difficult and uncertain times,” says Sim Wong Hoo, chairman and CEO of Creative.

Shares in Creative closed 3 cents lower or 1.42% down at $2.08 on Nov 15.
