Abrdn ceases to be substantial shareholder in AEM Holdings with share disposal

AEM Holdings has announced the disposal of 649,300 ordinary shares by its substantial shareholder, UK-based asset manager Abrdn Holdings on Jan 15. 

The shares were disposed of via market transaction for $985,507.54 or around $1.52 per share. Abrdn had previously sold 411,000 shares at around $1.59 on Jan 13, and 1.51 million shares at around $1.67 on Jan 9 prior to that.

With the latest transaction, Ardn has ceased to be a substantial shareholder in the SGX-listed chip-tester, with its deemed interest of 5.03% decreasing to 4.82% with the latest disposal.

In its latest 3QFY2024 ended Sept 30, 2024 results, AEM reduced its losses to $917,000 from $1.52 million incurred in the year earlier. 

Shares in AEM Holdings closed flat at $1.56 on Jan 20.
