SIIC Environment provides updates on new contracts and projects signed in 1HFY2025
The group announced developments in wastewater treatment during the first half of 2025 in China.

SIIC Environment has provided updates on new contracts signed and new projects commissioned during the 1HFY2025.

These include a concession agreement signed with Beiliu City for an urban wastewater treatment plant with treatment capacity of 60,000 tonnes per day; a wastewater treatment project in Shanghai which is now in operation; and an O&M project in Shanghai that has commenced with a treatment capacity of 100,000 tonnes per day.

The group is also engaged in two upgrading and expansion projects in Sichuan and Heilongjiang Provinces and have commenced operations, contributing a combined designed treatment capacity of 31,000 tonnes per day.

SIIC Environment also is engaged in another upgrading and expansion project in Shandong Province with a designed capacity of 30,000 tonnes per day. Meanwhile, a project in Guangxi Zhuang was granted a concession extension, with a designed treatment capacity of 80,000 tonnes per day.

Shares in SIIC Environment closed 0.4 cents higher or 2.484% up at 16.5 cents on July 24.
