The group says that its core business revenue segment — operating and maintenance — continued to maintain a growth trend in 1HFY2025.

SIIC Environment Holdings has reported earnings of RMB344.3 million ($61.62 million) for the 1HFY2025 ended June 30, up 7.1% y-o-y.

The group’s revenue for the period came in 4.4% y-o-y lower at RMB3.18 billion.

The group says that its core business revenue segment — operating and maintenance — continued to maintain a growth trend in 1HFY2025. The revenue from this segment increased to RMB2.65 billion, a 4.9% y-o-y increase.

In addition, with the continuous expansion of the asset-light business, the service income increased to RMB120 million, an 18.0% y-o-y growth.

SIIC Environment’s newly added construction projects are still in the preparatory stage, wrestling in a y-o-y adjustment in construction revenue. It is advancing major projects such as Hanxi Phase III.

The group recorded a net cash flow from operating activities of RMB631 million, with free cash flow increasing to RMB887 million.

As at June 30, the group’s cash balance stood at RMB4.012 billion.

In the first half of 2025, the group secured the Urban Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase III Project in Beiliu, with a designed treatment capacity of 60,000 tonnes per day. It completed a wastewater treatment project in Shanghai with a designed treatment capacity of 25,000 tonnes
per day and is now in operations, an operation and maintenance project in Shanghai has commenced operations.

In addition, the group’s two upgrading and expansion projects located in Sichuan and Heilongjiang Provinces have been completed and commenced operations, contributing a combined designed treatment capacity of 31,000 tonnes per day.

Shares in SIIC environment closed flat at 17.2 RMB cents on Aug 12.
