Raffles Medical Group (RMG) has signed an agreement with an affiliate of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine to work on a new model of collaboration between public hospitals and international medical groups.
The affiliate, Renji Hospital, and RMG will establish a “dual circulation” medical resource service system, to advance a new model of collaborative development.
Raffles Hospital’s international-standard service system will be integrated into domestic Chinese healthcare systems, and Renji’s Chinese medical expertise will be promoted through Raffles Hospital’s global network.
RMG has three hospitals in China’s Shanghai, Chongqing and Beijing, and outpatient clinics in five Chinese cities.
Two initiatives will be launched — the Renji International Cloud Clinic, which enables cross border telemedicine consultation with Renji physicians; and collaborative activities between the medical team from both institutions.
Shares in Raffles Medical Group closed 0.5 cents higher or 0.505% up at 99.5 cents on March 28.
