A total of nearly 151.3 million SingPost shares have changed hands at 42.8 cents in just 2 trades.
This volume is equivalent to more than 6.6% of the company's total share base.
According to SingPost's annual report, its single largest shareholder is Singtel with 494 million shares.
Alibaba is the second largest shareholder with 255.15 million shares.
In response, a SingPost spokesperson says that "Portfolio management decisions by shareholders are independent and do not reflect on SingPost's business and future plans.
"The company remains focused on executing its transformation agenda and delivering value to all stakeholders."

SingPost shares closed at 45.5 cents for the day, down 1.09%, with a total of 167.98 million shares traded, making it the most heavily traded stock today.
