Following the closure of ComfortDelGro’s (CDG) Braddell road headquarters at the start of 2026, the company will shift its workshop operations to its new Ubi facilities, it said in a written response to The Edge Singapore on June 18.

With its existing Loyang and Pandan maintenance workshops, CDG has three workshops to serve the east, west and central areas of Singapore. The company says that the Braddell workshop will remain fully operational until the Ubi facility commences services in 1Q2026.

“There will be a planned overlap period to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for our cabbies. Our priority is to maintain continuous, uninterrupted maintenance services during this transition,” says a spokesperson from CDG.

Apart from its maintenance workshops, CDG has bus depots in Bedok and Bukit Batok, and inspection centres in Yishun and Changi, and premises in Sin Ming.

The company’s Braddell Road headquarters lease expires in August 2026, and CDG and its subsidiary SBS Transit will move out, The Straits Times reported earlier today.

Shares in ComfortDelGro closed 1 cent higher or 0.704% up at $1.43 on June 18.
