Passenger traffic for the group increased 6.2% from a year ago, outpacing the 2.8% expansion in passenger capacity.
The group says that strong passenger demand across both airlines and all route regions are supported by the traditional summer peak.
For the month, cargo loads increased 2.1% y-o-y, tracking slightly below the 2.7% expansion in cargo capacity. As a result, cargo load factor declined by 0.3 ppts to 57.1%.
As at end July, the group’s network covered 129 destinations in 37 countries and territories. SIA served 78 destinations, while Scoot served 73 destinations. The cargo network had 133 destinations in 38 countries and territories.
