The accolade recognises Huawei’s contributions to the DfL movement through its Tech4City initiatives. Huawei’s Tech4City initiative is a comprehensive programme that aims to bring technology for care, inclusion, talent, and youth– a framework designed to focus on the key pillars of the nation's future, and encourage everyone to contribute to a more purposeful and meaningful success by helping others with technologies.
Huawei has also partnered with local academies and communities through its Huawei ICT Academy programme, lab visits and overseas learning journeys to nurture young community members on artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud technologies to help build Singapore’s technology ecosystem.
Moreover, it is an advocate partner for the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore’s SG Cyber Safe Partnership Programme. Huawei partners with the Association of Information Security Professionals and the People’s Association to promote awareness about scams to foster a safer cyberspace for all.
