Frasers Hospitality, a strategic business unit of Frasers Property Group, has developed an AI agent–powered app that automatically generates standard operating procedure (SOP) documents. AI agents are software systems that can act autonomously to analyse information and carry out tasks.
The app is built on Google Cloud's Firebase Studio, Vertex AI platform and natively multimodal Gemini API. It automatically analyses best practice training videos to produce SOP documents and Business Process Model and Notation 2.0 flowcharts. These are reviewed by managers before they are made available to employees as training modules via the app’s knowledge base.
The app also includes built-in translation powered by Google Cloud’s Translation API to support Frasers Hospitality’s multinational workforce.
Ian Loe, managing director for group digital and technology at Frasers Property, shares that it took only six weeks from solution/app ideation to production. This is due to “Google Cloud’s easy-to-use software components and its Gemini 2.5 Flash model performing exceptionally well without fine-tuning.”
He adds: “The ability to quickly generate and disseminate easy-to-digest procedural documents from videos has fundamentally reshaped our approach to training. It has enabled us to transition to a scalable and structured staff development programme that ensures a consistent guest experience across our hospitality portfolio. We’re also exploring its use in facilities management across our wider multi-asset class portfolio.”
The app is first deployed in Singapore and will be progressively rolled out across Southeast Asia.

Frasers Hospitality is also piloting a feature in the app that converts text-based SOPs into motion graphics with voiceovers to boost learning for staff. However, this remains exploratory, according to the company.
The app was co-developed with Kyndryl under Google Cloud’s AI Cloud Takeoff programme, which is organised in partnership with Digital Industry Singapore. The initiative aims to help 300 Singapore-based firms build in-house AI centres of excellence by providing them with consultancy support, cloud credits, and training worth up to $500,000.
