A conserved freehold corner terrace at 124 Cairnhill Road has been launched for sale at an indicative price of $16 million. The District 9 property sits on a 2,495 sq ft site with an approved gross floor area of 5,603 sq ft.

Its layout includes four en-suite bedrooms, a guest room, an en-suite maid’s room and family-oriented amenities such as a roof terrace, steam room and integrated car space. Renovations by architect RichardHO have preserved early-20th-century design elements while introducing modern features, including floating timber staircases and an internal lift.

Tan Boon Leong, executive director, capital markets and investment services, Colliers Singapore, says freehold terraces within the Cairnhill Residential Historic District are “exceptionally scarce”, highlighting the rarity of such listings.

The property’s location — 700m from Newton MRT Station and within 1.2km of Orchard Road — places it near major retail, healthcare and educational institutions, including the Anglo-Chinese School (ACS) family of institutions, Singapore Chinese Girls’ School (SCGS), River Valley Primary and the School of the Arts (Sota).

The property is being marketed via an expression of interest exercise, which closes at 3pm on March 31.
