BMW Eurokars Auto is appointed the Official Automotive Partner of Botero in Singapore

BMW Asia ended 2025 on a high note, with the brand securing its position as Singapore’s number one premium automotive brand for a second consecutive year.

However, there’s been scarcely any time to catch a breath, with one of its local authorised dealers, BMW Eurokars Auto, leading the charge into the 2026 Singapore Art Week and the coming Year of the Horse.

Botero is the latest big thing as the 2026 Singapore Art Week fires-up through a multitude of creative avenues and collaborations.

And we don’t mean ‘big’ in the metaphysical sense either, because any one who has seen the late Maestro Fernando Botero’s art-pieces will appreciate his visions of voluminous beauty in characteristically big, big forms.

But hey, big is not just beautiful, but also bountiful, which segues neatly with BMW’s sales aspirations, as well as that of its dealer, BMW Eurokars Auto, which has been appointed the Official Automotive Partner of Botero in Singapore.

“BMW Eurokars Auto x Botero: A Precious Steed” is an exclusive artistic collaboration developed in dialogue with “Botero in Singapore”, a landmark exhibition (incidentally the largest and most ambitious presentation of Botero’s work ever staged globally) jointly presented by IMBA and the Fernando Botero Foundation at Gardens by the Bay.

Three BMW models serve as rolling, roving canvases around the theme “A Precious Steed”, which see the medium of the automobile as a sculptural object where form, volume and motion intersect in playful whimsy.

It is no coincidence that the theme is horse-based. Not only are we entering the Chinese zodiac’s Year of the Horse, BMW is also known as “宝马” in Mandarin (literally Precious Steed), which underscores the brand’s dynamic performance, constant innovation and noble luxury. This ties-in neatly with the symbolism of the horse in Chinese culture: strength, vitality and forward momentum.

“A Precious Steed reflects our belief that the automobile can be a contemporary cultural form, one that carries meaning, craftsmanship and emotion,” said Mr. Jason Lim (pictured above on the left beside Fernando Botero Jr.), managing director, BMW Eurokars Auto.

He added, “Inspired by Botero’s exploration of volume and presence, this collaboration places BMW design in conversation with art, allowing culture to move beyond the gallery and into lived experience.”
