Limited to 10 units, the Artura Spider MCL38 Championship Edition celebrates McLaren's F1 milestones
McLaren Automotive celebrates a milestone in its storied racing history with the Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition, and marks McLaren Racing’s tenth Formula 1 World Constructors’ Championship and a triumphant back-to-back championship run.
2025 was the year the McLaren MCL39 chassis carried the team to the summit of F1 and propelled Lando Norris to his hard-earned maiden World Drivers’ Championship title.
Created through McLaren Special Operations (or MSO for short), the Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition will be strictly limited to ten units.
“McLaren is a brand that merges the excitement of Formula 1 racing with a curated experience that matches our clients’ distinctive lifestyles. We want the connection our fans feel with our brand to extend beyond the emotional and into the tangible, by making it possible for them to be a part of McLaren history,” says Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer, Chief Commercial Officer, McLaren Automotive.
The essence of this commemorative model lies in its bespoke, hand-painted livery, which is reminscent of the championship-winning race car.
MSO has blended Myan Orange with Onyx Black to recreate the striking spirit of the MCL39, which includes a commemorative "10" motif, with each of these painted graphics incorporating ten stars alongside the finely rendered outlines of every McLaren chassis that has ever secured a Constructors’ Championship.
The exterior is further elevated by the Black Pack and ten-spoke Super-Lightweight Dynamo Forged Alloy Wheels finished in Gloss Black. Behind these wheels sit Myan Orange brake calipers adorned with black logos, while the Stealth Badge Pack and a sports exhaust with a Stealth finisher provide a sophisticated, track-inspired aesthetic.
The dedication to exclusivity continues in the cabin with bespoke details that mirror the car’s racing DNA. Accented by vibrant Vision Orange piping, the interior is resplendent in Performance Carbon Black Alcantara and Jet Black Nappa Leather.
MSO has included unique "10" embroidery on the headrests and a Myan Orange 12 o’clock marker on the steering wheel, which also bears the "10" detail.
A custom casement plaque sits on the center console to underscore the car’s rarity. Additionally, the Extended Satin Carbon Fibre Sill Finishers are hand-signed by the 2025 driver lineup: Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Each car also includes a Custom Track Record Plaque in the luggage compartment, chronicling every win, pole, and fastest lap from the 2025 season. Beyond the physical car, each owner receives a 2025 Formula 1 Constructors Championship collectors’ keepsake.
