He also oversees compliance matters and the implementation of EC World REIT's short and medium-term business plans, and REIT management activities.
In a release on September 30, the board of EC World Asset Management said Wang had assumed the role of the Acting CFO since 10 January 2020 and has proven his competencies, and as such, will continue to carry out his current responsibilities.
Wang had served in EC World Asset Management for almost four years, and prior to joining the company, he was an Audit Manager with KPMG Singapore.
Shares of EC World REIT closed at 68 cents on September 30, up 1.5 cents or 2.26% higher than its last close of 66 cents.
