TrickleStar Limited (SGX:CYW
) has appointed Beng Kuang Marine CEO, Yong Jiunn Run, as its non-executive independent director.
TrickleStar’s board explains in the June 18 filing that the appointment of Yong was based on his “extensive experience in listed companies’ leadership, corporate governance, business transformation, capital markets and strategic expansion”.
“The board has approved his appointment recommended by the nominating committee, considering his skillset aligns with TrickleStar’s strategic direction and adds complementary strengths to the existing board composition,” states in the same filing.
Shares of TrickleStar closed 0.3 cents lower, or 2.63% down at 11.1 cents on June 18. On a year-to-date basis, TrickleStar’s share price gained 404.55%.
