Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker Nio Inc delivered 23,900 vehicles in April 2025, a 53% y-o-y increase according to its monthly delivery update.

The deliveries included 19,269 vehicles from its smart EV brand NIO, 4,400 vehicles from its family-oriented smart electric vehicle brand ONVO and initial deliveries of its small smart high-end electric car brand FIREFLY.

Total deliveries reached 737,558 as at end April 2025.

Nio's FIREFLY was officially launched this April and started deliveries in China at the end of the month.

Nio started trading on SGX back in May 2022 at just above US$17 ($22.20).

Shares in Nio closed 18 US cents lower or 4.37% down at US$4.05 on May 1.
