Noel Gifts International announced, on Feb 12, that there was a breach by an unknown party on some of its order information on its online ordering platform.
The breach took place on Feb 6, although the company has yet to determine the extent of the incident. An external consultant has been engaged to assess the situation and will advise the company on its next steps.
According to Noel Gifts, it has already informed all of its online customers about the suspicious activities and asked them to take “certain precautions”.
Shares in Noel Gifts closed 0.5 cents lower or 2.33% down at 21 cents on Feb 12.
