GRC Limited’s subsidiary GRC Buxton has been awarded a building works contract valued at A$53.8 million ($45.68 million) by Homes Victoria.

The contract involves the design and construction of a seven storey and six storey social housing development, comprising a total of 104 apartments, including associated communal amenities, external car parking and landscaping works.

The building is located in Heidelberg West, Victoria, Australia. The construction period is 17 months and is targeted to begin in the last quarter of 2025.

The group says that this contract is expected to contribute positively to the net tangible assets and earnings per share for the financial year ending June 30, 2026.

Shares in GRC Limited closed 0.2 cents lower or 2.247% down at 8.7 cents on Oct 28.
