On Oct 2, 2020, six of EHT’s former and current directors and officers were arrested on suspicion of a breach in disclosure requirements.

The other three arrested were Salvatore G. Takoushian, Carl Gabriel Florian Stubbe and Ng Kheng Choo.
Kataria, Lau and Tan are still currently sitting on the board of other companies including the manager of Mapletree Logistics Trust, Japan Home and IREIT Global Group.
All three cited their reasons for resigning as pursuing personal interests or commitments, or to “explore other opportunities”.
All three were also appointed to the board on April 16, 2019.
Kataria resigned on Dec 31, 2020, while Lau and Tan submitted their resignations on Jan 5 and 8 respectively.
