The Home Ministry suspended the publishing permit of The Edge Weekly and The Edge Financial Daily for three months from July 27, 2015 over publication of report relating to 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).
On Sept 21, 2015, the High Court quashed the suspension order after allowing The Edge's judicial review application.
The court also instructed for assessment of damages suffered by The Edge.
On Aug 9 last year, the Federal Court ruled that The Edge could claim for damages from the Home Minister for the losses incurred during the suspension.
