M1 Limited (M1) has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Airbus and CitiCall Communications (CitiCall) to bring Agnet to Singapore.

Agnet provides secure push-to-talk (PTT) and push-to-video (PTV) functionalities alongside real-time messaging and location services over broadband networks. It is built on Airbus’s platform and will leverage M1’s 5G network capabilities and expertise in delivering advanced connectivity.

The next-generation communication platform aims to support industries requiring secure communications and those looking to enhance their operational efficiency and safety protocols. It will be available via CitiCall, Agnet’s authorised reseller.

“M1 is committed to providing cutting-edge communication solutions that support Singapore’s digital transformation. By working with Airbus and CitiCall to launch Agnet, we are empowering businesses and public safety agencies with a robust, secure, and high-performance communication platform,” says Andrew Cheng, chief of Enterprise Services at M1.

Agnet is part of M1’s SMARTsuite Industry solutions (or 5G standalone-powered solutions in a box), which aim to help industries digitise through the implementation of bespoke advanced 5G solutions.
