Micron Technology has partnered with AI Singapore (AISG) to expand artificial intelligence (AI) literacy and talent development in Singapore.

The US memory-chip maker and Singapore's national AI programme aim to reach more than 5,000 learners through education and workforce initiatives designed to make AI skills more accessible, particularly for young people and underserved communities.

The programmes will be funded by the Micron Foundation and delivered through community-focused, youth-centric activities.

The initiative is intended to broaden AI literacy beyond traditional technical audiences while strengthening Singapore’s future talent pipeline.

Beyond students, the programme will train educators, volunteers, and community partners to deliver basic AI training to diverse groups.

“This partnership with Micron reflects our shared commitment to making AI accessible, inclusive and impactful. By combining industry expertise with community engagement, we are building meaningful pathways for youth, volunteers and social service partners to develop AI literacy and contribute to Singapore’s AI future,” says Koo Sengmeng, director of Talent & Ecosystem, AI Singapore.
