More than 180 homeowners have confirmed their move to one of Singapore’s most prestigious addresses, snapping up more than half of the units available at Newport Residences since the sales launch on Jan 31.
Come 4Q2027, these residents will arrive home at Anson Road in Singapore’s prime District 2, enjoying spectacular views of the city and the sea from the heart of Southeast Asia’s financial hub.
To date, 76% of the luxury freehold residential development has been sold.
Designed by renowned Japanese architecture firm Nikken Sekkei in collaboration with ADDP Architects, Newport Residences sits on the upper levels of the 215m-tall Newport Plaza, occupying levels 23 to 45.
The upcoming mixed-use development will comprise serviced apartments from levels 10 to 22, Grade-A offices from levels two to nine, and F&B establishments on the ground floor.
Newport Residences, located on the upper floors, promises exclusivity and privacy away from the other components on the lower levels.
Level 45 is solely occupied by the 12,960 sq ft Super Penthouse, which is served by a dedicated private lift that whisks its residents from their two generously sized private car park lots to their home. Residents can enjoy panoramic views of the city and sea from their capacious abode. Given its exclusivity, bespoke nature, exceptional scale and rarity, the pricing and floor plans for the Super Penthouse are only available upon request.
There are also 18 four-bedroom premium units at Newport Residences, each spanning 2,067 sq ft. Distributed across levels 23 to 44 of the tower, these luxurious apartments offer spacious flexibility for multi-generational living.
The four-bedroom premium units neatly demarcate the private areas from the generous living, dining and wet and dry kitchen areas, giving hosts peace of mind when entertaining guests. The master and junior master bedrooms — along with their respective en-suite bathrooms — envelop two common bedrooms, which are conveniently served by a shared bathroom that is kept away from the common areas. Guests can make use of a powder room located closer to the living room.
Thanks to the tower’s unique triangular form, residents in the four-bedroom premium units enjoy close to 180-degree views of Marina Bay and the future Greater Southern Waterfront from their balconies, set against an unmatched view of the sea.
Each unit at Newport Residences, down to the one-bedroom apartments, is efficient with spacious layouts. As expected of a luxury development, each unit is fitted with smart home features and designer kitchen appliances, such as V-ZUG and Liebherr; and branded bathroom fittings and wares from Dornbracht and Duravit.
An oven-cum-steamer is provided in the three-bedroom units, while the four-bedroom premium units are equipped with an oven and a steamer. Residents in four-bedroom premium units will also receive an undercounter wine chiller and a dishwasher, along with a spacious, freestanding bathtub in the master bathroom.
Newport Residences goes beyond expectations with a suite of premier residential services. No matter the unit type, all residents can enjoy delivery acceptance, transport and housekeeping arrangements, restaurant reservations, towel service at the pool and more, subject to service fees.
City living reimagined
Newport Residences is Singapore’s first private residence to attain the prestigious BCA Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy certification by the Building and Construction Authority; it is also the country’s first mixed-use development — comprising serviced apartments, offices and restaurants (F&B) — to achieve the same top-tier rating.
A full-height curtain-wall system facade is designed to reduce solar heat-gain in residential units. Deep, recessed balconies and/or a horizontal metal canopy help provide shade for the interiors.
CDL, renowned for its focus on sustainability, will also install in Newport Residences a solar photovoltaic system, which is expected to replace 30% of energy consumption in selected residential common areas such as the function rooms, gymnasium and swimming pool.
This environmentally-conscious throughline is also expressed through the tower’s “cascading gardens” design. Interweaving nature and building, the tower engenders a healthy building ecosystem while minimising solar heat gain.
Unfolding across various levels are four beautifully landscaped sky gardens, each offering unique views and spaces for relaxation and everyday living. Residents can enjoy the Play Garden on level 25 with a children’s play area, the Wellness Garden on level 29 with a yoga deck, the Fitness Garden on level 37 with exercise equipment, and the Horizon Garden on level 41, which boasts a co-working lounge.
Residents can also unwind at two dedicated levels of lifestyle facilities. Newport Residences’ Club Vista on level 34 features a gym, lounge and co-working and dining spaces; while the Newport Sky roof garden includes pools for children and adults, BBQ facilities and the Sky Club — a multi-purpose space perfect for hosting.
While Newport Residences is located within Singapore’s CBD, the surrounding area is rapidly developing to support a variety of uses. Families with school-going children will note the proximity to Cantonment Primary School and CHIJ (Kellock), and residents enjoy connectivity to three MRT stations.
Located just a short walking distance to the existing Tanjong Pagar MRT Station, Newport Residences also boasts direct access via a link bridge to Prince Edward Road MRT Station and is just down the street from Cantonment MRT Station — two of three stations that will open this year and complete the Circle Line loop between HarbourFront and Marina Bay MRT Stations.
