Savills Singapore is presenting to local buyers this weekend the final residential phase of London’s refurbished Television Centre, on the site of the former BBC headquarters.

Set within the heart of White City in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, Scenery House is a new, modern mansion block comprising 163 one- to three-bedroom apartments, penthouses and premium residences.

Designed by Stirling Prize-winning architects dRMM, Scenery House sits on the site of the former BBC Scenery Block — where sets and props for some of the UK’s most recognisable programmes were once brought to life.

Scenery House is arranged in a graceful south-facing crescent around private courtyard gardens, offering a rare sense of calm and privacy within a dynamic urban estate. The interiors are designed by MSMR Architects, with styling by French-German interior designer Tatjana von Stein.

The launch of Scenery House marks the conclusion of a GBP8 billion ($13.97 billion) multi-phase redevelopment led by Mitsui Fudosan UK and Stanhope, which has transformed Television Centre into West London’s cultural core — home to residences, offices, restaurants, leisure spaces and creative industries.

The site served as the headquarters of BBC Television from 1960 to 2013. After a refurbishment, the complex reopened in 2017, providing a mix of residential apartments, retail outlets, office space, and three studios operated by BBC Studioworks for TV production.

Upon completion, Television Centre will support a thriving community of around 1,000 residents, alongside offices for 4,000 people, television studios, cinemas, and more than five acres of open space, according to London-listed Savills Singapore.

Residents of Scenery House will enjoy access to a suite of amenities across the estate, including private lounges, cinema rooms, co-working spaces and wellness facilities. A short walk away, a Soho House-managed gym and swimming pool offers a members-only health and fitness experience.

Located moments from Wood Lane and White City London Underground stations, and directly opposite Westfield London, the UK’s largest shopping mall, Television Centre offers unparalleled connectivity to the West End, the City and Heathrow, says Savills Singapore.

Adrian Lim, senior director and head of international residential sales at Savills Singapore, says Scenery House offers a rare opportunity to own a home within a proven London landmark.

“The combination of 975-year leasehold tenure, an established live-work-leisure estate, excellent transport connectivity and sustained demand from both owner-occupiers and tenants positions it as a compelling long-term investment — particularly for Singapore buyers seeking stability in a global gateway city,” Lim adds.

Savills Singapore’s Television Centre-Scenery House launch event will be held from 11am to 6pm on Jan 31 and Feb 1, with a seminar from 2.30pm, at Voco Orchard Hotel, Malaysia room.
