Following the sale, BlackRock now has some 247.56 million units in MLT, or a 4.95% stake, down from 5.03% previously.
On the same day, City Developments Limited(CDL) also announced that BlackRock ceased to be the group’s substantial shareholder after the latter sold 277,000 shares via the market. The consideration of $1.56 million amounts to $5.64 per share.
The shares, which were sold on May 31, brings BlackRock’s stake in CDL to 4.97%, down from 5%.
Units in MLT closed flat at $1.34 on June 4.
