SINGAPORE (Oct 3): The Singapore Exchange RegCo is working with the Securities Investors Association (Singapore) and the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) to come up with a guide on how directors and investors should best conduct themselves during shareholder meetings.

This was announced by SGX Regco chairman Tan Cheng Han in his keynote speech at the launch of The 2018 Singapore Directorship Report on Wednesday that was organised by the SID and attended by some 300 participants.

The development of the guide comes in the wake of Stamford Land Corporation's recent defamation suit against shareholder Mano Sabnani over statements that he allegedly made during the group's 2016 and 2018 AGMs.
