SINGAPORE (Sept 7): Singapore Exchange (SGX) saw a 26% year-on-year increase in total Securities market turnover value to $25.9 billion in August. Compared to July, total market turnover value was 2% higher month-on-month.

There were 22 trading days in August 2016 and 2017, and 21 trading days in July 2017.

Securities daily average value (SDAV) was up 26% y-o-y to $1.2 billion in August. However, this was a decline of 3% m-o-m compared to the preceding month of July.
