A new chapter in Singapore’s luxury wellness scene has arrived, with the launch of the Grand Vitality Fitness & Wellness Membership at Grand Hyatt Singapore. Introduced last October, this programme marks the hotel’s latest step in reimagining holistic wellbeing through curated experiences, exclusive access to state-of-the-art facilities and a focus on mind-body connection.
Grand Vitality reflects Grand Hyatt Singapore’s commitment to helping individuals reconnect, recover and reclaim balance in their lives. Membership includes full access to an expansive suite of wellness offerings: a semi-Olympic lap pool, a fully equipped fitness centre with 26 types of machines, an outdoor “movement lawn” and thermal-hydro facilities designed to promote deep muscle recovery and mental restoration.
Members also enjoy unlimited group classes from taiji and yoga to HIIT and pilates, held at the newly refurbished Damai House.
Options had the opportunity to experience a one-month Grand Vitality membership. As frequent visitors to boutique studios and high-performance gyms, our experience here feels entirely different: calm, curated and quietly luxurious.
Stepping in, it’s immediately clear that this isn’t an average wellness club. From the modern, open layout of the fitness centre to the quiet elegance of the movement lawn, every detail is curated with intentionality. The facilities are top-notch; the thermal-hydro facilities have quickly become our favourite escape.

The semi-Olympic lap pool is fantastic for serious swimmers, but for those coming more for the unwind, the vitality pool and its gentle hydro-bubbles are a treat.
What truly elevates the experience is the thermal-hydro recovery suite. After a long workday, slipping into the dual-therapy sauna, with both traditional and infrared heat, melts away tension like magic. The halo steam room, infused with aromatic salts, helps us breathe better and rest deeper.

Most surprising beyond the facilities are the classes. Held in Damai House, the sessions cater to all levels, from first-timers to seasoned yogis. We tend to gravitate towards the yoga and pilates classes, led by master trainer Jimin Choi. The class community is another bonus; regulars are friendly, instructors remember our names, and there’s none of the high-pressure atmosphere some gyms suffer from.
Our only qualm is that the classes aren’t as easy to book as at other studios. Instead of an app, members are emailed a schedule for the following week; bookings are made via call to the Damai desk at Grand Hyatt Singapore. Classes fill up pretty quickly, too, so it really boils down to who can pick up their phone the fastest — or if you’re willing to kick a family member off speed dial just to get in a yoga class.
The monthly membership fee of $380++ gets you not just access, but a holistic wellness experience: group classes, pools and spa facilities access and even perks like 15% off dining at StraitsKitchen, Pete’s Place and Oasis. With early-bird discounts for new members and flexible term options, this membership may well be one of the most thoughtful ways to invest in yourself.
