Christmas will be coming early on the evening of Dec 5 at PS. Cafe@Ann Siang Hill, where Alberto Cordero of Italian wine icon Cordero di Montezemolo will host a five-course Christmas- inspired dinner with wine pairings. Alberto represents the latest generation to head the entirely family-run Monfalletto property in the town of La Morra, the centre of Barolo wine production. This event is limited to 19 seats only. Get a rare taste of chef Damian D’Silva’s cherished Eurasian Christmas recipes at Folklore. He will be serving up new festive fare such as White Debal — a savoury and piquant stew of turkey and homemade achar — and Dry Mutton Curry, a traditional Eurasian dish prepared Indian-style. Making their return to Folklore’s Christmas menu are favourites such as chef D’Silva’s famed Sugee Cake and Eurasian Christmas Pie (pictured). Festive takeaways are also available with an advance booking of five working days.

Price: $59++ per person Cultural crossover The Song of India chef Manjunath Mural spices up the traditional Christmas turkey with his seasonal Whole Tandoori Turkey Stuffed with Porcini Mushroom Briyani. The fowl is marinated overnight in Kashmiri chili powder, tandoori garam masala, mustard oil and cumin before being grilled in the tandoor oven. It is then stuffed with a porcini mushroom briyani and served alongside yoghurt sauce as well as a sweet, tomato-based wine sauce. Dates: Available for takeaway from Dec 20 to 31.
