SINGAPORE (Oct 26): Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC) posted a 12% increase in earnings to $1.06 billion for the 3Q ended September, from $943 million in the same period a year ago.

The strong performance was driven by sustained momentum across the group’s banking, wealth management and insurance businesses.

Net interest income grew 12% to $1.38 billion in 3Q17, from $1.23 billion a year ago.
