Shoppers can look forward to a wide variety of freshly harvested produce from Singapore farms, alongside products from homegrown businesses. The farmers’ market provides access to a central, high-footfall venue and a ready community of like-minded visitors, according to Temasek Shophouse.
Each edition will feature programmes such as tours and sustainability-themed workshops, offering visitors a deeper appreciation of Singapore’s urban farming ecosystem and the role of conscious consumption.
For the first time, a guided tour of the community farm at Temasek Shophouse will be conducted in conjunction with the farmers’ market. The 45-minute programme will deepen public understanding of how food is grown and encourage more mindful consumption choices.

The community farm is an invitation for Singaporeans to step into a “living conversation” about nature, food and climate — right in the heart of Orchard Road, says Cynara Tan, managing director of marketing and corporate sustainability at Fullerton Fund Management. “By bringing local growers, makers and visitors together for a single day, we hope to make sustainability feel personal and practical, and show how everyday choices can support a more resilient Singapore.”
Yvonne Tay, CEO of Temasek Shophouse, says: “Together, we can show that small, intentional choices such as buying right can contribute towards [the] positive environmental impact our world needs.”
Farmers Market @ Temasek Shophouse will take place from 10am to 5.30pm on May 23.
