Equity management platform Qapita has raised US$26.5 million ($34.32 million) in its series B funding round led by Charles Schwab Corporation. The platform has a presence in India and USA but is based in Singapore.

The latest funding round also saw the participation of existing investors Citi and MassMutual Ventures.

The company notes that as an extension of this investment, it will collaborate with Charles Schwab on Schwab Private Issuer Equity Services powered by Qapita. This is a flexible platform that allows US-based private companies to manage their cap tables.

Qapita offers management equity solutions in India, Southeast Asia, and the US.

It has three solutions — its equity management platform helps companies manage the ownership records of their stakeholders; its fund administration solution helps fund managers manage their portfolios as well as the ownership and reporting requirements of their investors; and its secondaries and liquidity offering facilitates unlocking of this ownership into wealth.

Previously Qapita raised US$10 million from Analog Partners, a Singapore-based growth equity fund, founded by Asia private equity veteran, Ashish Shastry.
