The SLD was established in 2002 and serves as the premier defence and security conference in the Asia-Pacific region.
This year’s SLD will be organised by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), with 42 countries in attendance.
Japanese prime minister Fumio Kishida will deliver this year’s keynote address on June 10.
Singapore President Halimah Yacob will host delegates for dinner at the Istana on June 11.
