In a Feb 23 press release, Elite UK REIT (SGX:MXNU) announces that it has been included back in the FTSE Global Micro-Cap Index and FTSE Global Total Cap Index.
The manager explains that the REIT was previously excluded from the above FTSE indices back in Aug 23, 2024, as it did not meet the liquidity requirements.
Since then, Elite UK REIT’s one year average daily turnover has improved 2.5 times, while market capitalisation saw a gain of 48% to £225.8 million as at Feb 20.
The REIT points out that the inclusion is currently indicative and the constituent changes will be effective after the close of business on March 20.
“We are confident that this addition into the FTSE Global Micro-Cap Index and FTSE Global Total Cap Index will pave the way for greater institutional interest internationally,” says Joshua Liaw, CEO of the manager.
As at 9.07am, units in Elite UK REIT are trading flat at £0.36.
