Mapletree Investments announced that one of Poland’s leading furniture retailers, Agata S.A., has signed a lease agreement for 128,000 sqm of the group’s logistics space in Piotrków Trybunalski, Poland.
The agreement includes a 10-year extension of an existing lease for 87,000 sqm in Piotrków II DC1 and Piotrków II DC2, as well as a 10-year lease at Piotrków II DC3, a new 41,000-sqm built-to- suit (BTS) logistics development located near Piotrków II DC1 and DC2.
Piotrków II DC3 will be developed near Piotrków II DC1 and Piotrków II DC2 to facilitate operational continuity for Agata S.A. to better serve its sales network across Poland with an optimised supply chain.
It is located near the A1 motorway and S8 expressway, the development offers optimal connectivity for national and international distribution, making it a key logistics hub in Central Poland. It is scheduled for completion by early 2027.
Mapletree says that this marked the largest warehouse lease transaction in the Polish market in 2025.
Mapletree has accumulated a $1.369 billion portfolio of office and logistics properties totalling 1,225,000 sqm in gross lettable area as at March 31, 2025.
