Rex International has reported a total production of 13,036 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) from Norway and Oman in December 2024, 28.3% higher than the 10,036 boepd reported in November 2024.

During the month, Rex’s subsidiary, Lime Petroleum AS (LPA), reported a total of 10,571 boepd from its Brage and Yme Fields. LPA has a 33.84% stake in the Brage Field and a 25% interest in the Yme Field. A new well was being drilled in the Brage Field in December 2024. The field also saw “stable” production with high uptime, reported LPA.

Meanwhile, the Yme Field only sold oil in December as the produced gas is being used for production operations and re-injected into the reservoirs for improved oil recovery, LPA added.

Another one of Rex’s subsidiaries, Masirah Oil Limited, announced that gross production from the Yumna Field in offshore Block 50 Oman amounted to an average of 2,465 stock tank barrels per day (stb/d) over the 31 days in December 2024. Masirah Oil has a 100% stake in Block 50 Oman.

Shares in Rex International closed 0.3 cents higher or 2.34% up at 13.1 cents on Jan 6.
