Chng currently serves as managing director of the Singapore Economic Development Board. Previously, he was the principal private secretary to the prime minister. He also served as a director at the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
Shares in DBS closed 9 cents or 0.32% higher at $28.59 on March 26.
