Mainboard-listed Powermatic Data Systems, a designer and manufacturer of wireless connectivity devices, has announced a special interim dividend of 10 cents per share.
Amounting to $3.5 million, the payout will be made from revenue reserves from prior financial years. The record date is Nov 17.
In 1HFY2026 ended Sept 30, the company recorded revenue of around $6.1 million, an 18% decrease from the corresponding period last year. Net profit decreased by 27% to $772,000.
The company reported a resurgence of customer interest in its Wi-Fi 7 products, reflected in a steady rise in evaluation requests. To remain aligned with shifting market dynamics, its R&D and engineering teams are actively developing a broad portfolio of new products to meet diverse customer needs and support future technology adoption.
The counter closed 2.32% higher at $3.09 on Nov 7.
