Singapore Exchange (SGX) Group has welcomed China Securities (International) Brokerage Company to its derivatives market as a trading member.

This addition brings the total number of trading members in SGX’s derivatives market to 69. SGX’s derivatives market also has 33 clearing members.

China Securities (International) Finance Holding Company is incorporated in Hong Kong as a wholly-owned overseas subsidiary of CSC Financial Co.

China Securities (International) Brokerage Company serves as the trading entity for its international markets strategy. The group offers a comprehensive suite of financial products and services to a diverse client base that includes corporate, institutional, and wealth management clients.

“Joining SGX as a derivatives trading member is a crucial step in the expansion of our global business,” says Jiang Yueqin, chairman of China Securities (International) Finance Holding Company. “Obtaining the membership underscores the robustness of our compliance framework and risk-management capabilities. It also highlights China Securities (International)’s exceptional competencies in technological infrastructure, service quality, and international operations.”

Shares in SGX closed 6 cents higher or 0.357% up at $16.87 on Sept 19.
